An evening with Congressman Jared Huffman.
On Friday, November 6, Heathens comes to San Francisco for a special screening and conversation with Congressman Jared Huffman, co-founder and co-chair of the Congressional Freethought Caucus and the only openly self-identified humanist serving in the United States Congress.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the program begins promptly at 7:00 PM. After the film, the filmmakers and Congressman Huffman take part in a Q&A and panel moderated by Carrie Lozano, followed by a brief reception.

About the film
Heathens
Five strangers meet at a secluded mountain retreat, each hiding a loss of religious faith that jeopardizes family, community and security. Inspired by music and kinship, the “Heathens” resolve to reclaim their lives—and return home to learn, one by one, just how much the truth will cost them.
